Ulta 3900 - Lag Huallcacocha 4300 m -Chequiaraju Pass 5080 m - lagoon Auquiscocha 4310 m – Quebrada Catay 3500m – Carhuaz
From the Ulta pampa we ascend a very well marked path to the lagoon Huallcacocha 4300 m. We left in the middle another quenuales forest. We continue for the southern crest of the lagoon, already looking for a path among the vegetation. Always in taking as reference the eastern crest of the Chequiaraju we reached its moraine. a stretch steep granite rock leads us to Paso Chequiaraju 5100 meters. The Hualcán 6120 us awaits with its north face, plus the lagoons Auquiscocha. The Huascarán with its slope south as the Chopicalqui. but the most impressive is the Nevado Ulta 5800, the most
escarpment of the Cordillera Blanca. Decline by the moraine in the direction of the lagoon Auquiscocha. continuing our way we passed the waterfalls of the same name and We arrive at the Catay plant 3500 m, the end of our trekking.
